Brief history of errors

The DepEd first approved the textbook in 1997 during the term of Secretary Ricardo Gloria.

In 1999 and 2001, during the terms of Raul Roco and Bro. Andrew Gonzales FSC, respectively, the DepEd procured more than a million copies of the textbook under World Bank and Asian Development Bank loan facilities.
